Online services
New South Wales courts and tribunals are moving towards providing more services online.
Decisions of courts and tribunals
Decisions of most New South Wales courts and tribunals are published on the NSW Caselaw website.
Case management services for the Supreme, District and Local Courts
Most online services for the Supreme, District and Local Courts are available on the Online Registry website. Using the Online Registry, you can:
- File selected civil forms online, by filling in information online, uploading already prepared court forms, or transferring data as XML files
- See information about your case, including details of proceedings, parties, legal representatives and documents which have been filed
- Download case-related documents which have been filed online (for parties to a case, their legal representatives and/or their authorised representatives)
- Search the online case list to see when and where a case will be heard
Legal representatives and their nominated support staff can also access online court. Online Court is an online forum which allows judicial officers and legal representatives in a case to exchange written messages about NSW Supreme, District or Local Court matters, instead of attending court to have the same exchange in person. Find out more about Online Court, the messaging forum for legal practitioners and their representatives.
Case management services for the Land and Environment Court
The eCourt of the Land and Environment Court enables litigants and their representatives to do things such as initiate proceedings online, lodge documents online, obtain hearing dates and adjournments through the eCallover facility and access any documents filed online.
